Fees for working with an Architect:
Fixed fee proposal
For those clients who are fairly sure about the outcome they require from their architect, a fixed fee proposal is usually recommended. Stephanie will meet with you and ascertain the services you might require for your project, before issuing you with a Fee Proposal. This plan will outline the amount of hours she will allocate to your project, along with any other expenses that might be incurred by services such as drafting. As the client, you will have the option of either accepting this proposal or renegotiating.
To clients requiring ongoing advise with relation to their project, Stephanie will generally suggest a fee proposal which involves working for an hourly rate. If you are unsure of the extent of advice you might need, or how many revisions you might be likely to make, this solution could work well for you. In all instances, however, the choice will be yours.
